Site supervision and quality control is the ongoing, active oversight of construction works against the approved design, specification, and programme — checking that what's being built is what was specified, that it's being built correctly, and that problems are identified and resolved before they're buried behind subsequent works. For clients who have appointed their own contractor but want independent oversight of quality and progress, this is one of the most valuable services we provide.
Our site supervisors work from the construction drawings and specification, carrying out stage inspections at critical construction milestones, reviewing materials against approved samples, and maintaining the records — daily reports, inspection certificates, non-conformance notices — that document the construction quality delivered. This contemporaneous record is also the most effective tool available for managing contractor performance and resolving disputes if they arise, because it establishes what was built, when, and to what standard.
