Founded in 2012 in Srinagar, Housing Hive was built on a simple conviction: that a building is delivered best when the people designing it, costing it, engineering it, and constructing it are working as one team, not a chain of separate firms handing a project along and hoping nothing gets lost in translation. Over more than a decade, that conviction has shaped everything about how we work — and it's why we've grown into a multidisciplinary firm capable of taking a project from its earliest architectural sketch through to a fully commissioned, occupied building, under one roof.
Housing Hive is, at its core, an amalgam of professionals brought together under one roof — architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, fire safety specialists, plumbing engineers, cost consultants, and construction experts, each a master of their own discipline, working side by side rather than across separate firms and separate contracts. It's this coming together of genuine specialists, rather than a team of generalists spread thin across too many disciplines, that gives every project the depth of expertise it actually needs at every stage.
We're headquartered in Hyderpora, Srinagar, with a second office in Pulwama, and from these two bases we serve clients across Jammu & Kashmir and beyond — private homeowners, developers, and institutional clients who want a single, accountable partner for the full life of their project, rather than the burden of coordinating architects, engineers, cost consultants, and contractors themselves.
