MEP Execution
The systems that make a building function, coordinated and commissioned with precision.
What’s included
- Mechanical systems installation (HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression).
- Electrical distribution, containment, and wiring.
- Low-voltage, data, and communications infrastructure.
- Lift and vertical transportation installation coordination.
- Commissioning, testing, and systems performance verification.
- O&M documentation and occupier handover package.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems determine whether a building actually works — how it's heated and cooled, how power and water reach every part of it, how life safety systems function in an emergency. MEP execution is the construction discipline of installing, coordinating, and commissioning these systems correctly, to the performance standards the design specifies, within the spatial constraints the architecture and structure create.
The main challenge of MEP execution on complex projects is coordination — multiple disciplines competing for the same ceiling and wall space, installation sequences that have to respect both structural and MEP logic, and commissioning that tests every system both independently and as part of the integrated building. We manage this coordination actively, using coordinated installation drawings to resolve spatial conflicts before they appear on site, and a structured commissioning programme that systematically validates each system's performance before handover.
