We treat it as a parallel discipline — one that interrogates every design decision, every specification change, every procurement route, and every site instruction for its financial consequence, and translates that consequence into language clients, designers, and contractors can act on. Our methodology draws on the full breadth of internationally recognised standards and practice frameworks — including RICS professional standards and the New Rules of Measurement, AACE International's cost engineering and total cost management framework, CIOB guidance on time and cost management, PMI project cost management practice, and relevant ISO standards on cost and value management — applying whichever framework best fits the project, its jurisdiction, and its contractual context. We believe cost advice is only as valuable as the rigour and transparency behind it. A number without a methodology is an opinion; a number with a methodology is a defensible position.
