MEP
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering — designed from the outset for long-term operational performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.
What’s included
- HVAC system design to ASHRAE standards.
- Electrical distribution and lighting design.
- Plumbing and drainage system design.
- Life safety system integration to NFPA codes.
- Energy performance and load calculation.
- Coordinated MEP modelling for clash resolution before construction.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design is the engineering discipline that plans how a building will actually function — how it will be heated and cooled, how power and water will be distributed through it, how it will be lit, and how life safety systems will be integrated into its fabric. MEP design has an outsized influence on a building's long-term operational performance, energy consumption, and occupant comfort, which means it deserves the same design rigour and early integration as architectural and structural design, rather than being treated as a technical layer added once the architecture is fixed.
We design MEP systems in accordance with relevant international and national standards — including ASHRAE standards for HVAC design and indoor air quality, NFPA codes for fire and life safety system integration, and the National Building Code of India's provisions for building services — always calibrated to the specific climate, occupancy, and performance requirements of the project. MEP design is coordinated closely with architectural and structural design throughout, using coordinated modelling to resolve routing and spatial conflicts before construction, not after.
