Lightning Protection & Earthing
Protecting a building's structure and electrical systems — from the ground up.
What’s included
- Lightning risk assessment for structure and location.
- Air termination network design and installation to IS 2309.
- Down conductor routing and installation.
- Earth termination system design and installation.
- Integration with building electrical earthing system to IS 3043.
- Post-installation inspection and test certificate.
While earthing is integral to electrical installation and distribution, lightning protection is a distinct discipline in its own right — covering the design and installation of systems that protect a building's structure and its contents from direct lightning strike, calibrated to the building's height, location, and risk exposure. This is particularly relevant for taller structures, isolated buildings, or locations with elevated lightning risk.
We design and install lightning protection systems in accordance with IS 2309 for lightning protection of structures, sized and positioned appropriately for the building's geometry and the site's local risk profile, and integrated with the wider earthing system to ensure a coordinated approach to both lightning protection and electrical safety — rather than treating them as separately installed, uncoordinated systems.
