Business and Intangible Asset Valuation

Brand, goodwill, and intangible value assessed where physical asset methodology falls short.

What’s included

  • Brand and trademark valuation to IVS 210 standards.
  • Goodwill assessment for transaction and financial reporting.
  • Customer relationship and contract intangible valuation.
  • Business enterprise value assessment.
  • Intangible asset identification and allocation (purchase price allocation support).
  • Intangible asset valuation report for audit, transaction, or dispute.

For clients whose value extends beyond physical property — brand value, goodwill, intellectual property, and other intangible assets — standard real estate valuation methodology does not apply. Business and intangible asset valuation addresses this distinct category, often required in transaction, financial reporting, and dispute contexts where the value of a business or its intangible components is the central question.

We prepare business and intangible asset valuations in accordance with IVS 210 (Intangible Assets) and, where financial reporting is the purpose, Ind AS 38 / IAS 38, drawing on income, market, and cost approaches as the nature of the specific intangible and the available evidence dictate — since the choice of approach in intangible valuation is often the most consequential methodological decision in the exercise.
