Health and Safety Risk

Structured, systematic identification and management of health and safety risk — from design hazard through to construction-phase safety.

What’s included

  • Design-stage hazard identification and elimination review.
  • Construction-phase health and safety risk assessment.
  • ISO 45001-aligned occupational health and safety risk framework.
  • BOCW Act compliance risk assessment.
  • Safe system of work development for high-risk activities.
  • Construction health and safety risk register and monitoring.

No category of project risk carries higher stakes than health and safety risk — the risk of harm to workers, site visitors, and eventual building occupants — and managing it demands the same structured, systematic rigour we bring to cost and programme risk, applied to the most consequential outcome of all. This service covers the identification and assessment of health and safety risk throughout a project's life, from design-stage hazard identification through to construction-phase safety risk management.

We assess and manage health and safety risk in accordance with ISO 45001, alongside applicable Indian regulatory requirements including the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act and associated safety regulations governing construction sites. This work is closely integrated with our EHS Management Consulting and Compliance service under Environmental Services, ensuring health and safety risk is managed as part of a coherent overall safety management system, not as an isolated risk category.
