Structural Engineering

The technical backbone of every building — calculated to code, coordinated from concept.

What’s included

  • Structural analysis and calculation to IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, and IS 1893.
  • Seismic zone assessment and site-specific load calibration.
  • Foundation and frame design coordinated with geotechnical findings.
  • Reinforced concrete, structural steel, and load-bearing masonry design.
  • Continuous coordination with architectural design from concept stage.

Structural engineering ensures a building's form can safely carry every load it will experience throughout its life — its own weight, the people and contents it will hold, wind, snow, and seismic forces — without excessive deflection, damage, or, in the worst case, failure. This is technical work with very little room for error, because structural decisions determine not just a building's safety margin but a substantial share of its overall construction cost, and mistakes here are often the most expensive to correct once construction is underway.

We design structures in accordance with the National Building Code of India and the relevant IS codes — IS 456 for reinforced concrete, IS 800 for structural steel, IS 875 for design loads, and IS 1893 for seismic design, calibrated to the specific seismic zone the project sits within. Structural design is developed in close coordination with architectural design from the earliest stages, because structure integrated early produces more efficient, more economical, and more architecturally coherent outcomes than structure retrofitted onto an already-fixed form.
