Energy and Performance Reviews
Closing the gap between how a building is designed to perform and how it actually does.
What’s included
- Design-stage energy modelling and ECBC compliance assessment.
- Post-occupancy performance measurement and gap analysis.
- Building envelope thermal performance review.
- Building services energy optimisation recommendations.
- Benchmarking against ECBC and ISO 50001 standards.
- Actionable reporting for design teams, clients, and building managers.
A building's design performance on paper and its actual operational performance once occupied are not always the same thing, and understanding — and closing — that gap is the purpose of energy and performance review work. This covers assessment of a building's energy performance both at design stage (predictive modelling to inform design decisions) and post-occupancy (measuring actual performance against design intent and identifying where and why a gap has emerged).
We conduct energy performance assessment and modelling in accordance with the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) of India and, where relevant, ISO 50001 principles for energy management systems — benchmarking building performance against recognised efficiency standards and identifying specific, actionable opportunities to improve energy performance, whether through building envelope improvements, building services optimisation, or operational and control system adjustments. This work connects closely with our Sustainability Consulting and Climate Adaptation services.
