Within a regulatory planning context, master planning covers the preparation of the spatial and land use framework required to support a formal planning application for larger or phased developments — establishing land use allocation, density distribution, infrastructure provision, and phasing in a form that satisfies both the practical needs of the development and the specific requirements of the planning authority reviewing it.
This work draws on the same design and spatial planning capability as the Master Planning service under our Planning & Consultancy and Design verticals, but is developed specifically to support and withstand regulatory scrutiny — structured, documented, and presented in the form planning authorities expect and can properly assess, giving a large or complex development the strongest possible basis for approval.
