Dal Lake View Residence

A ground-up single-family residence on the shore of Dal Lake, organized around a sheltered central courtyard that opens the main living spaces to the water while buffering them from winter wind off the mountains. Local stone plinths, deodar timber screens, and deep eaves carry the region's vernacular into a contemporary plan — every principal room is oriented to hold a framed view of the lake and the Zabarwan hills beyond it.
